Following a successful pilot of Pronto’s Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) at Heidelberg’s Bridgeport, Texas site in 2023, today we are excited to announce the deployment of our AHS at Heidelberg’s Lake Bridgeport, Texas quarry.
Building on the Bridgeport collaboration between Pronto, Heidelberg, and Komatsu North America, the Lake Bridgeport deployment will be on Komatsu HD605-8 haul trucks and will feature the integration of Komatsu’s Smart Quarry technologies. The combination of Pronto’s AHS and Komatsu’s Smart Quarry platform will enable enhanced data collection and analysis, as well as improved safety and productivity for Heidelberg.
Pronto’s AHS is a cost-effective solution to addressing the challenge of recruiting skilled operatives, while also increasing the utilisation of haul truck assets. The AHS leverages advanced sensors, cameras, and artificial intelligence to autonomously operate haul trucks in complex and dynamic environments.
